Rock your reception with Dancing

Your wedding is the biggest day of your life. All your friends and family who know have come to support you. You have spent months planning your big day, and now it is time to celebrate! Here are some tips to keep you guests dancing all night and the reception rocking!

As the dinner draws to a close, it is time to rock your reception! It is now time to get your guests up to dance and party with you. You then kick this off with your first dance. An engaging and entertaining first dance will whet the appetite of your guests. They will be itching in their seats to come burn the floor with you. Next is the parents dance. You want to honor your Mother and Father for all they have done. If they have learned to cut a rug this can be fun as well. Next is your wedding party. A fun way to break the ice is to involve them in a wedding party line dance and ask them to get your guests up to join them at the end.

Now you have a formula to get the party rocking, now you need to keep it burning! Remember that everyone will follow your lead. So join in the line dances with your guests. Stay on the dance floor with your guests, and they will keep on dancing just to be near you. If you leave the floor for an extended amount of time, your guests will leave the floor as well to be where you are. I had a couple tell me about exactly this at 2 weddings they attended. The first the wedding couple stayed on the floor to the end, and everyone had a great time. It stood out as a great event. The second the bride and groom refused to dance. Everyone went home after dinner and the party was a dud. You can rock your party with these simple tips.
