2017 Rocky Mountain Bridal Show wedding dance runway performance
Don’t you think holiday engagements are so romantic? Once you say yes, then you go to Colorado’s largest bridal show, the Rocky Mountain Bridal show. At the R.M.B.S. you can find wedding dance lessons, photographers, and all your wedding needs.
This show was unique, being the first year that there was a wedding dance show preceding fashion show on the runway. Dancers from Adventures in Dance graced the fashion show runway. It was a thrilling wedding dance show.
Robyn and William kicked off the show with the popular mambo/salsa from Dirty Dancing to “I’ve had the Time of my Life’” A romantic night club two step followed danced to “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” danced by Craig and Holly. The Spanish dance the Paso Doble beat its way down the runway, followed by a romantic Waltz to “If I Knew Then.”
Keeping with a romantic theme, a Rumba strutted on the stage to “Everything.” “It had to be you,” a popular jazzy foxtrot had toes tapping. Traveling south to Brazil Robyn and William danced a wedding Samba to “Say Hey.” Every princess dances a Viennese waltz, and Adventures in Dance danced one to “Breakaway.” Swing is always popular, and the song “Happy” was the perfect swing to set toes tapping. Once again the dances traveled south of the border for a Tango to “Shall We Dance.” The show closed with cat calls and thunderous applause as a cheeky Cha-Cha sauntered down the runway to “Uptown Funk.”
The guests were complimentary to the dancers as they exited the stage. They complimented the dancers, and were excited to try out all the possibilities for their own first dance. Adventures in Dance is looking forward to dancing at the Rocky Mountain Bridal show again soon.
