University Club Carousel Dance
One of the advantages of being a ballroom dance teacher is going out dancing with your students. This weekend we were privileged to attend the University Club Carousel Dance. Judy & Tom Mc Williams were the hosts for this exciting dance.
Arriving at the University Club
The evening began with a warm greeting at the door by Tom and Judy Mc Williams. We were joined upstairs by Kevin Rudolph and Valerie Wassill for cocktails. By 7 pm were seated in the College room for a plated supper.
Carousel Dance Band
During supper the Carlos Crull band struck up some lively dance tunes. Guests took advantage of the great ballroom and Latin dance set to go for a spin around the floor. Toes were tapping between delightful dinner courses.
Latin Dance Show
During dessert, amateur ballroom dance team Robyn and William graced the floorboards. They presented their international Latin dance set. Wooing the audience, they performed the Cha-cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble & Jive. The show was simply delightful.
University Club Carousel Dance Close
Members of the Carousel dance club then got up to dance the rest of the night away. Craig and I had a great time dancing with each other and club guests. At the end of the night we bid ado and took our tired toes home. We were all honored to be a part of this event.
